Milarappa – handmade thangka painting from Nepal

Milarappa is a medicant mont and poet. He is represented in the bronzes seated on a gazelles skin on a lotus asana.He has short, curly, hair and is dressed in monastic garments.He is holding his right hand with the fingers extended and the palm turned outwards behind his right ears as if he was listening to the echoes of nature,his left hand holds a begging bowl.He is sometimes thought of because the 1st normal Tibetan to become an ideal Buddha in one time period.
